Capital Territory Police
The Capital Territory Police is a police force formed in 1981 to police Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan. Currently, there are three divisions:[1]
- Capital City Police
- Islamabad Traffic Police
- Capital Security Police
The police force's mission statement reads

[edit]Launch of Islamabad Women Police
Pakistan is an Islamic country and Islam does not allow men police officer to investigate from women for this purpose Pakistan establish women police stations in Pakistan to avoid the misbehave of men police officer to Pakistani women prisoners. There are large number of cases seen which policemen’s violence against women in police stations. Now Pakistani women are joining Pakistan women police to protect women harassment and violence in police stations. Large number of Pakistani women joins Pakistan women police in all over country. Pakistan police gives training to new Pakistan women police officers join Pakistan women police.
Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)
CIA is the investigation wing of Islamabad Capital Territory Police working under supervision of an SP. It is responsible for tracing out heinous cases referred to it by SSP Islamabad. Its office is located at I-9 Markaz and presently DSP Bashir Noon is heading the wing with 70 officers. Lots of high profile and important cases have been traced out by DSP Bashir Noon. He is known for his professional expertise and without doubt is an asset to the department. During the year 2006-2007 about 200 cases were referred to CIA for Investigation. Out of which 126 cases have been traced out. They worked out 11 cases of kidnapping and 09 miscellaneous cases. The wing has developed over the years specialized skills to trace out the gangs and criminals behind the heinous crimes as they incessantly keep on diligently working and tracing out the links of criminal gangs with various types of crimes. Overall it busted 21 gangs during the year 2007. Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) is another wing of CIA. It is headed by an Inspector having 48 personnel.
